At Labelexpo Europe 2019 in Brussels, (Sept. 24-27, 2019), Roland DG will present the latest among its digital production equipment, including the unveiling of new products designed to build a profitable business from quantities of as few as one to 1000.
“Our aim is to show the visitors to Labelexpo how unique labels and packaging comps en-able a profitable business,” said Satoko Yoshida, digital printing marketing manager at Ro-land DG Corporation. “We will be printing on a wide variety of substrates, including not only paper and PET-film based materials, but also leather, metal plates, wood and acrylic. This will allow us to present some truly amazing applications that will wow attendees with high levels of versioning and personalization without compromising print quality.”
Among the line-up of solutions will be Roland’s latest addition to its VersaUV LEF2 range of UV flatbed printers, designed for direct printing graphics and textures with matt and gloss finishes onto a range of items including mobile phone cases, giftware and operation panels.
DGSHAPE Corporation, a Roland DG subsidiary, will also exhibit two of its advanced tech-nologies. The METAZA MPX-95 Photo Impact Printer enables permanently marketing se-rialized data on metal and a digital laser foil decorator transfers metallic effects onto vari-ous materials.
In addition to these products, there will also be a new UV inkjet device for the production of short run labels and packaging comps.
