Ripon Printers won six Premier Print Awards.
Ripon's entries were selected during the 2019 Graphics Excellence Awards sponsored by the Great Lakes Graphics Association.
All of Ripon’s nine entries in that competition received recognition with specific awards that included one Best of Category, two Best of Division, five Awards of Excellence, and one Certificate of Merit.
Then six of the winning entries received further honors, including one “Benny,” the highest recognition of the Premier Print Awards.
Ripon’s award-winning entries were:
- Best of Category and Benny Award Winner – Elite Traveler, Magazine Series;
- Award of Recognition – Trek Travel Catalog, Booklet or Brochure Series;
- Certificate of Merit – Sophisticated Weddings, 2018 New York Edition, Fashion/Pop Culture Magazines;
- Certificate of Merit – Sophisticated Weddings, 2019 New York Edition,Fashion/Pop Culture Magazines;
- Certificate of Merit – BVK-Funjet Vacations, Lookbook, Architectural/Art/Travel/Other Magazines;
- Certificate of Merit – 2019 Lionel Trains Catalog, Product Catalogs (4 or more colors)
The four Certificate of Merit awards were judged among printers with 101 or more employees.
“Doing so well in a tough global competition like the Premier Print Awards is further evidence of Ripon’s ability to combine creativity, craftsmanship, and technology to produce outstanding print materials,” said Julie Newhouse, president of Ripon Printers. “I’m delighted for our customers as well as the entire Ripon Printers team.”
The Best in Show honorees will be revealed during the Premier Print Awards Reception & Presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at 19 East in Chicago, Illinois.
Best of Category winners will be on display that evening prior to the awards presentation and attendees will have the opportunity to vote for a special People's Choice winner to be handed out live during the event.
The awards are sponsored by Printing Industries of America.
Entries came from 12 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Paraguay, Taiwan, the UK, the UAE, and the US.
