will be showcasing its Alpha comprehensive technology platform on Booth A210, Hall 3 at ITMA in Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, Spain, which runs from June 20-26.
The new Alpha Series 5 190 and 330 printing systems being unveiled at ITMA feature improvements in material handling, efficiency and material diversity. The technology platform offers sustainable, flexible and scalable solutions for every application, even enabling waterless one-step production with the new Durst Advanced Digital Pigment ink.
The new Alpha 190 / 330 Series 5 with SuperMultipass provides 30% better performance than comparable systems. This next generation of high-performance printing systems integrates new technologies in the printheads, inks, drying units, and in the interaction of software.
For the Alpha Series 5, Durst offers environmentally friendly water-, acid- and reactive-based ink systems. Its Advanced Digital Pigment is the world’s first ink system that enables a one-step process with soft touch and brilliant colors.
It also has excellent lightfastness and wet rub fastness and can be used on all types of fabric. In addition, the ink family includes Durst Disperse HD and Durst Reactive HD.
These inks are Oekotex 100 and GOTS 5.0 compliant.
“The fabrics, soft signage and textile markets support fast turnaround short runs and sustainability using digital technology," said Martin Winkler, Durst Group’s segment manager, Textile Printing "Our growing number of customers make savings in coloring inks and water consumption, as well as in production costs and delivery times.
