FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division(booth 1119) will showcase a line-up of new wide format solutions to print industry experts at SGIA Expo 2018, which takes place Oct. 18-20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Making its North American debut will be Fujifilm’s all-new Acuity Ultra, a cost-effective high speed, superwide UV roll-to-roll press for the production of high-end interior graphics and outdoor signage. The Acuity Ultra Series is available in 126” (3.2 m) and 197” (5 m) versions.
With a 3.5 pl drop size, the Acuity Ultra is ideal for the indoor display market, especially for luxury brands, with the quality comparable with litho and leading water-based ink systems. With its massive format size, multi-roll potential and impressive speed, the Acuity Ultra provides the ability to profitably create exhibition graphics, point-of-purchase displays, high-value graphic art, indoor backlit displays and more.

- The SpyderX, a UV wide-format press, designed and manufactured by Inca Digital. The 126” (3.2 m) wide, six-color + white SpyderX is available as either flatbed or a combination flatbed/roll-to-roll system model for handling rigid and flexible substrates. This printer is capable of producing a wide variety of output at high speeds up to 2,476 square feet per hour (230 m²/hr);
- The B1 (27.8” x 39.4”) format OnsetMinkjet press from Inca and Fujifilm, specifically developed to offer a high quality, short-run solution for sign and display, commercial and industrial print applications. With print speeds that enable the production of 200 boards per hour and remarkable quality achieved with a 7pl drop, this printer delivers short-run jobs, cost-effectively, in a very popular format size;
- The Acuity LED 1600Ris the latest addition to Fujifilm’s popular Acuity Series, offering customers a flexible, lower cost alternative to the Acuity LED 1600 II hybrid press that has recently surpassed more than 1,000 global installs. Featuring Q-Class printheads from FUJIFILM Dimatix, the Acuity LED 1600R is a 64 inch (1.6 m) dedicated roll-to-roll press, offering four color channels, with the option of a modular upgrade in the field up to seven colors. It features a high-density mode capable of handling heat-sensitive roll media while printing stunning, vibrant displays – making it suitable for backlit and window applications. Like the Acuity LED 1600 II, it offers productivity of up to 355 square feet per hour;
- The Acuity Select 20 Series, features up to eight color channels including options to run white, varnish and now light inks making it an affordable solution for a number of creative print applications.
