Sartomer's CN1000, CN1001, and CN1002 add to the energy-saving benefits of UV-LED curing by improving the cure speed of inks and coatings formulations. These oligomers add value to operators' UV-LED digital curing systems by expanding the range of applications. Because LED curing does not emit infrared energy, it reduces surface temperature and allows converters to use heat-sensitive substrates and add new capabilities to their presses.
CN1000 and CN1001 provide low viscosity and high functionality, while CN1002 combines abrasion resistance and flexibility with hardness and fast cure response. These products are used in inks and coatings formulations for graphic arts, wood, furniture, paper, paperboard, metal, and plastics. Because of the rapid curing time, they are especially useful in fast flexo and inkjet printing processes.
