As a result of upward pressure in the price of raw materials, packaging, transportation, and various other cost factors, Kerley Ink announced that it is seeking a price increase. The last time the company announced a price increase was four years ago.
Effective March 19, 2018, Kerley Ink will be increasing prices for ink raw materials, finished inks, and their packaging by these amounts:
• All conventional and energy-curable inks and vehicles: 5%
• All water-based inks and vehicles: 1.5%
• Packaging Charges:
3.5 gallon plastic buckets: +$0.10/lb (formerly +$0.08/lb)
5 gallon plastic buckets: +$0.10/lb (formerly +$0.08/lb)
Pour Spout Lids: +$0.02/lb (formerly no charge)
15 Gallon kits: +$0.18/lb (formerly +$0.11/lb)
