The new press will give The BoxMaker capacity to grow current production from 2 million to over 3 million square feet in monthly digital print, according to HP.
Founded in 1981 as a small box plant, The BoxMaker, located outside of Seattle, has grown to become an all-in-one supplier of packaging innovation.
Last year, The BoxMaker added a HP Scitex 17000 Corrugated Press and an HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press.
“Our investment in HP technology continues with the HP Scitex 15500 to complement and grow our business with a trusted partner,” said Richard Brown, President and CEO, The BoxMaker.
In an effort to educate businesses on the power of digital print, The BoxMaker is hosting the inaugural Packaging Experience Summit this coming Jan. 15-16, where customers and brands are invited to learn from industry experts how to benefit from the value of digital print and production.
The press enables printing of high-quality graphics on a wide range of corrugated media using HP Scitex High Dynamic Range (HDR) Printing Technology.
