The Truepress Jet L350UV is known across the printing industry for its ability to meet the demands of a variety of industry applications. Use of the label press is already well established across the US.
In 2014 Springfield Solutions was the first company to install a Truepress Jet L350UV in Europe. Just a year later, the company bought a second machine. The recent purchase of another Truepress Jet L350UV is part of Springfield Solutions doubling the size of its digital print operation.
The physical expansion at Springfield Solutions came about because of the steady growth experienced by the 42-year-old global digital print, brand management and media company. In 2014 the British company had reached a first-time yearly printing milestone of more than 100 million labels, followed by 140 million in 2015 and 175 million last year.
To complete the launch of its #PrintWorks expanded printing facility, Springfield Solutions enlarged its Thomas Street building footprint from 20,000 to more than 26,000 square feet. With the addition of the Truepress Jet L350UV and extra print area, Springfield Solutions has increased its printing capacity by 30%.
“We will now be able to print millions more labels and improve lead times for print and brand management customers. We now have the consistency and continuity allowing us to innovate and push the boundaries of what digital print can do,” said Dennis Ebeltoft, joint managing director of Springfield Solutions.
