Trade Show Executive (TSE), a publication covering the trade show industry, has named the 2016 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, Sept. 14–16) to its roster of 50 Fastest-Growing Shows by Net Square Feet of Exhibit Space. Next up is the 2017 SGIA Expo (New Orleans, Oct. 10–12).
“The TSE Fastest 50 lists some of the most innovative expositions in the country. It’s an honor to be considered among them,” said Ford Bowers, SGIA president and CEO.
According to TSE, the average trade show in 2016 grew 2.4% in net square feet of exhibit space, 2.1% in number of exhibiting companies and 1.1% in attendance.
With 272,700 net square feet of exhibit space – a 12.9% increase over 2015 – the 2016 SGIA Expo was also notable as the largest show floor in the Expo’s history. It attracted 562 exhibiting companies and more than 24,000 registered participants.
