Kiian Digital will host live on-stand demonstrations, highlighting the sustainability of its portfolio of sublimation inks at SGIA Expo, which will be held Sept. 14-16, 2016 in Las Vegas.
The company’s advanced range of 12 specially-engineered inks contain reduced or no hazardous chemicals. Visitors are invited to watch live demonstrations of the production process, from a digital file to a fully decorated finished garment, and see first-hand the premium quality achievable with these inks.
“As part of our long-term commitment to sustainability, we are continually developing inks that enable our customers to produce supreme-quality prints and at the same time environmentally-conscious products,” said Marco Girola, Kiian Digital’s marketing specialist. “This commitment to product development has seen a number of our products surpassing testing against industry benchmarks, including Nike’s Restricted Substances List (RSL).”
Comprising 81 colors, Kiian Digital’s portfolio offers the most extensive gamut of high-quality water-based inks for sublimation printers, allowing for increased productivity while cutting waste. The variety of applications on display at SGIA includes high-fashion apparel, performance sportswear and household textiles.
The company’s range of inks have been formulated and tested to comply with numerous textile standards without sacrificing image quality and accuracy of color reproduction. These include the Restricted Substances Lists such as: Adidas A-01, CTW and OEKO-TEX Standard 100. The product range is also fully compatible with a wide range of printheads for wide-format printing machines, including Epson, Ricoh, Kyocera and Panasonic.
