U.S. Zinc has announced it has created a new position focused on overseeing key distribution relationships. Paul Myers, a 37-year rubber and chemicals industry veteran, has accepted the role of distribution manager, effective immediately.
Myers will manage U.S. Zinc’s distribution alliances with HB Chemical and Azelis (formally KODA), as well as U.S. Zinc’s specialty distributors. The shift will allow U.S. Zinc to serve the rubber and CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers) markets nationally through one streamlined process.
“The creation of this new position further speaks to the commitment we made to our customers two years ago by making our distribution process more efficient and I have full confidence in Paul to effectively manage these efforts.” said U.S. Zinc President, Tracy Baugh.
Myers previously served as the U.S Zinc sales lead for the mid-west United States. Since joining the company in February 2013, he has been responsible for zinc oxide sales to the rubber, plastics, coatings, adhesive and agriculture industries.
“Working through distribution channels gives us the ability to reach every customer; large and small,” Baugh added. “This, coupled with our investments in production capacity, customer service and logistics, allows us to serve every customer in the best way possible.”
