FUJIFILM Corporation was named a Thomson Reuters 2015 Top 100 Global Innovator for the forth year in a row, in recognition of its achievements as one of the world’s most innovative companies.
The Thomson Reuters 2015 Top 100 Global Innovator methodology is based on four principle criteria: overall patent volume, patent grant success rate, global reach of the portfolio and patent influence as evidenced by citations, using Thomson Reuters’ intellectual property and intelligence collaboration platform. Fujifilm was selected as one of the top 100 companies for its particularly high recognition of the patent grant success rate as well as high ratings in the other criteria.
Fujifilm strives to continue creating value for society and contributing to resolving social issues while seeking opportunities for business growth, and to develop intellectual properties that significantly contribute to business through close coordination of business and R&D.
