FUJIFILM Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc. will showcase five new water-soluble acrylamide monomers and a photoinitiator to attendees at the 188th annual International Elastomer Conference (IEC), Oct. 12-15, 2015 at the Cleveland Convention Center in Cleveland, OH.
Combining a product expo, technical meeting, education symposium and various specialized events, IEC is the leading annual conference for customers, educators and suppliers of materials, equipment, tools and services for the elastomer industry.
Expanding on its well known product line for photographic imaging, printing and electronic materials, the new Fujifilm products include polyfunctional acrylamide monomers FFM-2, FFM-3, FFM-4 and FFM-5; monofunctional methacrylamide monomer FFM-21; and photoinitiator FFI-1.
Fujifilm’s monomers’ and initiator’s unique chemistry combines all of the following properties: UV curability, water and hydrophilic solvent solubility, and stability across a wide pH range.
The new monomers and initiator provide substantial benefits for Fujifilm customers in a wide range of industries, notably those producing medical devices, adhesives, optical films, coated films and antifouling agents for building materials and glass.
