Canon U.S.A., Inc. has announced five models in the new MAXIFY series of Wireless Inkjet printers for the small office/home office (SOHO) user: the MAXIFY MB5320 Wireless Inkjet Small Office All-In-One (AIO) printer, the MAXIFY MB5020 Wireless Inkjet Small Office AIO printer, MAXIFY MB2320 Wireless Inkjet Home Office AIO printer, MAXIFY MB2020 Wireless Inkjet Home Office AIO printer, and MAXIFY iB4020 Wireless Inkjet Small Office printer. Each one is Wi-Fi enabled with cloud printing capabilities.
“Canon is committed to supporting small and home office business users and has specifically designed the MAXIFY printer series with features that this market is looking for, such as high-quality printing with fast printing times, and a low total cost of ownership so users can focus on growing their business,” said Yuichi Ishizuka, president and COO, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “Convenient access to our 100% U.S.-based service and support also gives our consumers peace of mind that they can speak with a Canon representative about their printer’s capabilities and features.”
All of the Canon MAXIFY printers feature high ink and paper capacities, fast first print-out speeds of approximately seven seconds for black-and-white documents, high print quality and durability as well as easy operation. Featuring a new print head and mechanical system, the printers use a new Dual Resistant High Density (DRHD) individual ink tank system designed to produce graphs with "vivid colors and sharp, optical density, crisp text, which is friction and marker resistant," the company says.
The optional XL-size ink tank can print up to 2,500 pages in black and 1,500 colored sheets before needing to be replaced for the MAXIFY MB5320, MAXIFY MB5020 and MAXIFY iB4020, whereas the MAXIFY MB2320 and MAXIFY MB2020 can print up to 1,200 pages in black and 900 colored sheets before needing to be replaced.
Each of the new machines feature the ability to automatically-schedule on and off times, and offer an overlapping paper feed.
