IIMAK is showcasing its new SP575 Premium Resin Thermal Transfer Ribbon at Labelexpo Europe, designed to provide maximum image durability for demanding environments. Featuring harsh chemical durability and exceptional abrasion resistance, SP575 is ideal for automotive and industrial environments where image survival is critical on heavy-duty labels. It provides resistance to chemicals such as fuels (diesel and gasoline), brake fluid, compressor, hydraulic and automotive oils.
In addition to resistance to harsh chemicals, SP575 is designed to withstand the most challenging abrasive environments. SP575 passes General Motors Specification GMW14573 (Global Performance Requirements for Labels Class A: Engine Compartment).
Print quality is remarkable, IIMAK says, with the fine line print ideal for small text and 2D bar codes, common in automotive components and electronics. Designed for optimal performance on polyester substrates, SP575 also features an anti-static formula and backcoat to help extend printhead life. SP575 Premium Resin is joined by IIMAK’s SP330 General Purpose Resin.
