As Labelexpo Europe 2013 approaches, OMET is showcasing its leading position in the label and packaging market through several successes gathered worldwide in recent times.
OMET label and packaging presses – including Varyflex V2 and XFlex X6, X4 and X2 – have proved to be the choice for converters who aim at expanding their business with a minor impact on costs and need to differentiate production. The capabilities of these presses to print in-line on multiple technologies and exploit state-of-the-art electronic controls to increase savings of time at set-up, and waste at make-ready and during production, is the best way possible to better support market fluctuations in demand and deliver low print runs still preserving margins. OMET offers a machine for each specific need, configured to meet the customers’ expectations and adjustable in time to follow their growth.
The XFlex X6 that will be displayed in Brussels (Hall 6 H90) is a 430 mm press with three flexo units and five offset groups with sleeves, thought for label converters who usually rely on offset print standards but understand the advantages of working on a multi-process press with flexible spirit. XFlex X6 with offset groups is offered in widths up to 530 mm and counts already on prestigious installations worldwide. It also offers cold foil, screen printing, Rock’n’Roll matrix rewinder and Vision-1 register control system. The press will demonstrate the perfect printing of one label and one flexible package, both for the food and beverage sector.
The XFlex X4 is the latest press designed by OMET to support, with ease of use and superior electronics, the growth and expansion of small converters with low investment budgets. The press is equipped with Vision-1 register control system, capable of delivering perfect registration and minimize waste. The machine on show is 370 mm width with cold foil, delam/relam, embossing, self-adhesive lamination unit, Rock’n’Roll matrix rewinder, peel & seal unit, three die-cutting stations and Vision-1 automatic register control system. Attendees will have the chance to see two beautiful self-adhesive labels prepared to enhance the machine print and die-cutting performance.
At the booth, OMET will welcome all visitors interested in learning how multi-process mid-web presses can handle low printing runs in packaging successfully. The converters of packaging who decide to buy OMET Varyflex V2 – not displayed in Brussels - have high chances of success thanks to the possibility to print in one pass complex jobs introducing important savings and high quality print consistency.
