Michelman announced the hiring of Mr. Jean-Marc Verhaeghe as the company’s new managing director, Europe. Mr. Verhaeghe will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in Europe across all five of Michelman’s global business units. He will have a particular focus this year on developing Michelman’s expanding infrastructure, including staff and physical resources, while improving the customer experience.
Mr. Verhaeghe holds a degree in chemical/textile engineering from the State School of Engineering of Ghent in Belgium. His resume includes positions with the Honeywell Corporation in various director roles, 3M Corporation, and most recently with Polyone as director, global marketing, Specialty Engineering Plastics. His background includes technical, commercial, operational and senior management experience.
