Richard "Rich" A. Wright, 66, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, April 2 at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church. Interment followed at Westminster Gardens with Rev. Mike Barrett officiating.
Born on Jan. 8, 1945, he was a lifelong resident of Greensboro and a major part of his "Glenwood" community, where he coached little league and pony league. Mr. Wright was an avid sports fan and Duke supporter.
Mr. Wright was instrumental in the printing industry for more than 35 years. Owner of Wright Roller and Primary Colors, his current and former employees were like his family. He touched more lives than can be mentioned.
He is survived by his wife of almost 46 years, Toni Alley Wright; mother, Bertha L. Wright of Greensboro; a daughter, Marie Crook and husband Darrell of Pleasant Garden; and grandchildren, Alley and Richard Tyler Crook.
