At its annual meeting of suppliers to the printing industry, the Print Suppliers Group (PSG) celebrated its growing impact on the printing industry.
“In terms of both our annual sales and the quality support we provide to printers, the PSG has growing industry influence,” said Dennis Curtin, PSG president. “Total ink sales and other supplies provided by members are now well beyond $50 million annually and the increasing growth of this group shows our momentum.”
The group met Jan 20 at Miami’s Alexander Hotel to review the latest industry developments and trends.
With its goal to drive growth based on technology and value, PSG offers the industry supplies and systems for flexo, sheetfed, digital and total print support. Among the current technologies members offer to the industry are:
• New generations of environmentally preferred inks and fountain solutions.
• Ink systems that allow printers to use less ink, with sharper dot results.
• Improved gloss and crisp results.
• Less waste and quicker startup systems.
Joining PSG are Atlas Graphic Supply Inc. and Brunner Consultants.
Atlas Graphic Supply, based in Markham, Ontario, extends PSG’s reach more solidly in Canada. Atlas provides a full range of pre-press and pressroom products. Brunner Consultants of Miami adds a key new strength to PSG’s presence in Florida and the Southeast.
