Arizona Instrument LLC, a leading moisture analysis and toxic gas detection instrument maker, has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification.
The ISO 9000 series of standards are a set of international quality management system standards and guidelines. Since its publication in 1987, they have earned a global reputation as the basis for establishing quality management systems. The revised ISO 9001:2000 standard addresses an organization’s capacity to meet customer requirements and improve customer satisfaction. According to the International Organization for Standardization, slightly more than 25 percent of ISO 9001:1994 registered companies in the U.S. have upgraded to 9001:2000.
“Providing high quality products and service has always been a primary focus for Arizona Instrument,” said Linda Shepherd, Arizona Instrument’s quality manager. “Our transition to the new standard reinforces our commitment to our customers.”
