Chicago, IL-based Keystone Aniline Corporation, a supplier of dyes and specialty chemicals, announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Tracking Technologies, Inc., a producer of chemical taggants and high tech security products. The two companies have joined together to provide industrial and manufacturing companies with brand protection technology, anti-counterfeiting capabilities and covert tracking solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, Keystone will offer TTI’s product security, brand protection and anti-diversion systems, which are sold under the trade name DataTrax Encoded Microparticle System. Keystone is now TTI’s primary distributor in the brand integrity and warranty protection industry.
Keystone Aniline Corporation also announced the opening of a new liquid production and finishing plant in Spartanburg, S.C. The 14,000 square foot facility includes advanced milling, grinding and high-speed dispersion equipment, as well as a state-of-the-art quality control and technical applications laboratory. The site will also serve as Keystone’s main southeastern warehousing and distribution point, complementing Key-stone warehouses and labs in Chicago and southern California.
