The grinding and dispersion division of Netzsch Incorporated has opened a new, two-story, 16,500 square-foot, state-of-the-art grinding laboratory and training center across from its headquarters in Exton, PA. According to the company, this facility is designed for pilot production and pilot testing of a diverse range of grinding machines, including high-speed dispersion and mixing equipment, media mills, dry grinding mills and particle size analysis.
The new building includes three wet and two dry processing suites, a pharmaceutical mill demonstration area, an equipment washroom, an isolated hazardous material storage area, an analytical laboratory, office suites and client training and conference rooms.
According to the company, testing and demonstrations on small laboratory scale mills up to pilot scale equipment is available and factory acceptance trials can be completed at this facility.
