Saueressig Wins Three PLGA Awards with Siegwerk Inks

Saueressig GmbH + Co. KG, a German producer of printing and embossing forms, has won three awards for its feh Crystal Limited Edition packaging at the annual PLGA Awards of the Packaging and Label Gravure Association (PLGA Global). In cooperation with SCA Hygiene Products, the company took part in the categories film reverse printed, special effects/novelty and specialty inks, and was awarded the first place in all of them.

feh Crystal Limited Edition is a film packaging with a diamond printed on it that changes its color dependent on the angle and incidence of light. This reflection was achieved by elaborating fine lines and structures that interact with special pigments in the printing ink.

Apart from Saueressig and SCA Hygiene Products, the ink supplier Siegwerk Druckfarben AG & Co. KGaA, the agency Profile Communication and the printing house Nordenia Gronau GmbH were involved in the project.
