Carl Cecil of CRI Presents at Chicago TAPPI Program

Posted on February 8, 2012 @ 08:56 am

Color Resolutions International’s (CRI) Carl Cecil, graphic and educational specialist, will be presenting, ”Color Management…by the Numbers,” at Chicago TAPPI’s evening program titled “Enhancing Your Print Capabilities” on Tuesday, March 6, 2012.

“I always ask participants if they are currently printing to their greatest potential or do they struggle from job to job,” said Mr. Cecil. “Color is a variable and we all see color differently. With color management, we can attach a number to that variable that helps us control and manage our color reproduction process.”

Mr. Cecil has more than 30 years of experience in graphics and design. At CRI, he works closely with high-end printers to ensure they are using CRI ink technology to its full advantage. He regularly presents at both Fox Valley Technical College and Clemson University.

Jack Fulton, vice president-sales of Printron, and Jonathan Dunlap, senior technical service representative-graphics of RockTenn will also be presenting at the evening program.

The Chicago TAPPI Program kicks off with a technical workshop and a visit to a Chicago sheet plant, with industry experts available for questions, followed by the evening program, including dinner. The program is available to all interested corrugated converters. Space is limited, and the reservation deadline is Feb. 15, 2012.
