Sensient Technologies Announces Officer Election

Sensient Technologies Corporation announced that Dr. Gordon Hering, vice president, marketing & technology, has been elected an officer of the company by its Board of Directors.

Dr. Hering joined Sensient in September 1994 as a senior research scientist. He has initiated, developed and finalized successful new products, both market-driven and customer-driven. In April 2007, he was appointed to his present position.

Dr. Hering completed his post-doctoral training at Oxford University in microbiology. He received a doctorate in pathology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
