Flint Group Hosts Technical Seminars for Flexo Printers

At recent technical seminars held on October 20 and 22, in Toronto and Philadelphia, PA, Flint Group presented its latest information on product developments and discussed topics of interest with flexo printers, converters and prepress managers.

Topics presented by Flint Group included an eco-efficiency analysis on solvent versus thermal plate processing, sustainability of inks and plate components in packaging, and the latest technological developments in the manufacturing and performance of sleeves. Guest speakers from All Printing Resources and EskoArtwork also informed attendees on new developments in G7/Near Neutral Calibration for Color Management and High Definition Flexo Printing, respectively.

The seminars were well-attended, and Flint Group received positive feedback from the attendees, citing the usefulness of information and current subject matter as primary benefits of attendance. Table top displays and a networking session at the end of the day facilitated additional discussions around the specific interests of the attendees. Due to the success of the seminars in 2009, Flint Group will continue to offer regional technical seminars well into 2010.
