Unimin Corporation is highlighting its MINEX functional fillers and extenders during RadTech 2016.
“MINEX is a no-tint strength durable pigment extender for UV coatings and inks offering new ultra-fine particle size for improved optics,” said Scott Van Remortel, technical sales manager for Unimin. “It is ideal for overprint varnishes, color dispersions, interior paints and for clears.”
MINEX 10 is a micronized functional filler and/or extender produced from nepheline. MINEX 12 provides ultrafine precision PSD for optical clarity, high loading and abrasion resistance in solvent, UV and waterborne clears. It is transparent in clear resin systems, and increases hardness and scratch resistance.
