Pulse Roll Label Products Ltd. has appointed Anthony Tan as sales director, Asia, as it expands its senior team to drive further growth in the region.
Tan has more than 17 years’ experience in the ink industry, having previously spent six years with Flint Group, Narrow Web as sales director Asia. Prior to that, he held a senior regional technical sales manager role for 11 years with Akzo Nobel/ANI.
Tan is based in Singapore and will work with George Lyle, who was appointed GM, Asia-Pacific, Pulse Roll Label Products at the beginning of 2016. This latest appointment reinforces the narrow web ink manufacturer’s strategy to target further sales growth in Asia and demonstrates its commitment to building a stronger presence in the region.
Tan will play a key role in further expanding the team in Asia, working closely with the company’s partners in the region to and support new business development, as well as providing technical expertise to customers in the region. He will also support the introduction of Pulse Roll Label Products’ new high strength UV flexo PureTone ink range to label printers throughout te region. The PureTone ink range – a total colour management solution - was launched at Labelexpo Europe in 2015, and has already been introduced into Australia and Thailand through its partnership network.

Pulse Roll Label Products already has strong partnerships in place through its long-standing relationship with Jet Technologies, who represent the company, and its narrow web products, in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. The company’s partner Press Systems, based in Bangkok, also provides an experienced technical team to support the Thai label market.
