IGT Testing Systems announced the release of a new version of the IGT F1 printability tester for flexo inks.
The new IGT F1 allows ink manufacturers, printers and suppliers of flexible materials to meet their high quality standards to ensure consistent test results in a production and R&D environment. The IGT F1 is well known in the market for flexo and gravure inks.
“Higher demands in flexo printing make it very important to listen to our customers and their needs,” said Wilco de Groot, managing director at IGT Testing Systems. “Especially in label and packaging printing, where the print quality is very high, the use of the F1 printability tester has proven its value. However, to meet our customers’ demands, the device has been fully renewed, with a complete PC inside for control and storage of data and settings for each test and a number of pre-programmed test methods and the possibility of adding customized or complete new test methods by the customer.
“This together with the new, very user-friendly touch screen application makes the latest version of the IGT F1 an easy-to-use printability tester, keeping the high quality standard that is expected from us,” de Groot added.
