Sun Chemical launched a number of new narrow web ink solutions at its stand at Labelexpo Europe 2011.
These innovative new offerings further expand Sun Chemical’s existing narrow web portfolio and allow customers to transform their business through increased productivity, differentiation and quality.

SolarFlex Lightning White is a brand new ultra high opacity UV flexo white for maximum hiding power, and it works equally well with high volume channelled and standard aniloxes. Smooth printing, wide-ranging adhesion and excellent printing receptivity combine for this optimum first-down white.

SolarFlex Nova SL is a low odor ink system based solely on Nestlé’s “Positive-list” of photoinitiators and features excellent UV flexo performance properties which allow quick make-ready and efficient printing.

Sun Chemical’s SunCure Starluxe is a UV offset product range designed to provide the highest print quality to labels and packaging. The series has been proven to offer reliable and robust press performance on a range of papers, plastics and metalized substrates at the highest print quality
The SolarScreen Colours range has been upgraded for higher speed rotary screen printing without loss of definition for increased productivity. A range of resistant colors, with an associated Pantone approved formulation guide, combine with Sun Chemical’s SolarScreen silicone-free and combination opaque whites, ideal for printing with other Solaris System products.

“It is important that we continue to innovate and provide our customers with narrow web products that add value to their business,” Jonathan Sexton, sales director for narrow web Europe at Sun Chemical, commented. “We believe the products being launched this week demonstrate our commitment as leaders in the marketplace and provide our customers with narrow web solutions that will help them create standout and increase productivity.”
