Operating Facilities: Five in the US, UK, Singapore and Mexico.
Comments: Nazdar, a specialist in screenprinting, inkjet and flexo inks, consists of Nazdar Ink Technologies, Nazdar SourceOne and Nazdar Consulting. The company had a solid year in 2017, launching new products and continuing to grow in its markets.
In major news, Mike Fox, the company’s longtime president as well as CEO, retired at the end of 2017. Fox had been president of Nazdar since 1991, leading the company through its expansion, acquisitions and its successful move into digital printing. Richard Bowles, who has served as president of Nazdar Ink Technologies since 2013, has succeeded Fox as president of Nazdar.
“I wish to thank Mike for his many contributions to Nazdar and Thrall Enterprises,” Jeff Thrall, CEO of Thrall Enterprises, parent company of Nazdar, said.
In another personnel move, Stephen Woodall was named global market segment manager for aqueous and solvent digital inks.
“The wide format signage and graphics market is a strong focus for Nazdar and we expect to see sustained growth for years to come, with a steady increase in the installed base of machine across all regions,” Woodall said. “Nazdar offers a wide range of plug-and-play inks for this sector, all color-matched to specific OEM inks and at equivalent quality, but at a lower cost.”
