Welcome to Ink World Magazine's 2014 Salary Survey. Conducted in early 2014, thousands of participants from around the globe shared information on not just salaries, but healthcare coverage, job satisfaction and security, and more. Here, you will see a snapshot of their feedback on salary and bonuses.
As you can see below, the average annual salary is approximately $75,000. Approximately half of participants fall within this range. The largest groups outside of the average make either below $20,000 or over $100,000 per year. The most common job functions are laboratory/technical/research and development manager, sales and corporate management. The least common job functions - among survey respondents, not the industry as a whole - are customer service and in-plants.
In what is perhaps the most indicative of an economic recovery, three-quarters of all respondents reported received a raise within the last two years. The majority of those respondents received a raise within the last six months. More than half of participants reported raises of up to 6% and annual bonuses of up to $500.
