On Oct 8, 2014, the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) presented the prestigious Technical Achievement Award to Kevin Kingman of Flint Group, and the Technical Associate Member Service Award to Alan Kalmikoff, during the 58th annual NPIRI Technical Conference.
A 30-year member of the printing ink industry, Kingman is technical director for Flint Group. He is highly regarded for his work throughout the years, spanning heatset and news ink to flexo, earning patents for his ground-breaking work in these fields.
“Thank you,” Kingman said. “A lot of distinguished people have received this award, and I am very honored.”
A 40-year veteran of the ink industry, Kalmikoff recent retired as president and CEO of Keim-Additec Surface USA. He began his career at Roberts and Porter Printing Inks, continuing on to Sun Chemical GPI, Shamrock Technologies, BF Goodrich, Carroll Scientific, Lubrizol and Nicoat prior to joining Keim Additec in 2004.
A strong supporter of NAPIM, Kalmikoff has served on the TAM Steering and Management Information committees, and is a member of the NAPIM Board of Directors. He received NAPIM’s prestigious Printing Ink Pioneer Award in 2012.
