Labelexpo Europe 2013, which is being held Sept. 24-27 in Brussels, Belgium, is set to be the largest in the show’s 33-year histor. The 2011 show floor was 29,670 square meters, while 2013’s event has grown to occupy seven halls at Brussels Expo ,and is on course to cover 31,500 square meters, according to Labelexpo Global Series, the show’s organizer.
Ink manufacturers will play a major role at LabelExpo. Among the ink companies that will be participating and presenting new products and innovations are Arets, Colorgen, Dow Corning, Flint Group, GSB-Wahl, INX International Ink, Marabu, Mastercorp, Pulse Roll Label Products, Radior, Ruco Druckfarben, Siegwerk, Squid Inks, Sun Chemical, VPF, Wikoff Color, Xeikon, and Zeller+Gmelin.
Flint Group will display some innovative products at stand no. 5B45. The two Flint Group divisions, Packaging & Narrow Web and Flexographic Products, will provide visitors with the opportunity to learn more about the comprehensive product portfolio for narrow web printing.
Sun Chemical will showcase products to help create innovative and impactful packaging and labels, including a wide range of narrow web inks and coatings, brands protection solutions, HD-quality plates, consumables and a dispenser offering to improve color consistency.
Siegwerk will be staging a live demonstration with its new ink series for LED UV technology in cooperation with machine producer Gallus. Siegwerk will showcase its new ink series Sicura Screen LEDTec and Sicura Flex LEDTec to print with a Gallus EM 280 LED machine.
INX International, in conjunction with its partner Spartanics, will offer a live demonstration of the NW140 inkjet UV digital narrow web press at Labelexpo. The company will also feature the AquaTech ION Label ink system.
Marabu will be highlighting its competence in offering the whole package: high-quality products plus excellent technical service at Labelepo Europe 2013. The company will be displaying its smart solutions in rotary and flatbed screen printing inks as well as digital printing inks.
Wikoff Color is heavily promoting two of its product lines: Photoflex II, a UV flexo series, and Polypro, a water flexo series, designed primarily for properly treated film, but will run on porous stocks.
