Position Summary
Position is responsible for directing the No-Tox® Products division. This position is responsible for management of all phases of the division inclusive of sales, marketing, manufacturing, quality, technical, supply chain and engineering. Incumbent is responsible for the strategic direction of the division with the goal to grow the business, and meet financial targets year on year.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Continuously improve the divisions’ position as the “supplier of choice” in food contact non – toxic ink industry.
- Develop the short and long term profitable growth strategy for the division.
- Continuously improve the operating income of the division.
- Provide leadership and mentoring of staff.
- Lead role in negotiations of customer contracts and pricing.
- Direct new product development based on customer & industry needs.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Provide leadership to facilitate operational improvements.
- Manage policy deployment in the areas of GMP’s, SMP’s, SOP’s, quality, cost reduction, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, employee relations, controls and plant performance measures.
- Monitor all customer activity Including communicating customer needs and industry standards.
- Develop marketing and communication plans to ensure consistent messages and images are developed and implemented.
- Develop and control expenses and capital budget
- Maintain and support a superior safety and housekeeping program.
- Manage compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Actively participate in Industry forums, conventions and technical conferences.
- Actively maintain business relationships with global corporate management staff.
Requirements
· B.S. in a scientific or commercial discipline, preferred.
· Minimum 15 years in a commercial or operations leadership role. Preferably related to the printing ink or chemical industry.
· Excellent communication skills.
· High level of business acumen.
· Ability to identify & prioritize strategic business and financial issues.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop people, drive business teams and create a growth environment.
· Results driven.
