-Develop inkjet MICR solutions in partnership with various Canon R&D departments and business partners
-Develop testing methodologies, document procedures, and write reports for use by Lab personnel, Service, Marketing, and R&D as required
-Be a subject matter expert on all Canon ink-based and toner-based MICR solutions, and act as the MICR solutions expert to R&D, internal and external customers, and business partners
-Be the point of contact for Canon internal and external customer issues involving MICR and provide results-driven recommendations for all MICR-related solutions
-Create and maintain MICR-related technical documents, including specifications and technical bulletins
-Keep abreast of scientific and competitive information in order to maintain state-of-the-art knowledge
-Perform all other duties and special projects upon request
Desired Skills and Expertise:
-Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a technical Digital Printing and Inkjet related field, with 3+ years of related professional experience with emphasis on MICR and/or ink chemistry
-Experience in the Digital Printing Industry
-Technical knowledge of ink chemistry & inkjet technology
-Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
-Proven success in building relationships and interacting with business partners and customers.
