Sartomer Appoints Laurent Suspene New Vice President in Asia

Sartomer Company named Laurent Suspene vice president of Sartomer Asia, effective June 1, 2007. Since 2003, Mr. Suspene has been general manager, photocure and functional additives, for the Sartomer Europe Division of Cray Valley, based in Paris.
Mr. Suspene replaces David Long, who was assigned new responsibilities within the TOTAL group, Sartomer’s parent company. Mr. Suspene joined Cray Valley in 1988 as a research scientist. Since then he has worked as a technical director and managing director in multiple locations, including Malaysia, Korea and Spain. He also worked in the U.S. as a technical director with Cook Composites and Polymers. He earned a doctorate in macromolecular science in 1988 from INSA (National Institute of Applied Sciences, Lyon, France).
Sartomer also appointed Philippe Thepot as general manager of the Sartomer Europe Division of Cray Valley. He replaces Mr. Suspene.
