Eastman Kodak Company has named Kenneth Swanson to the position of director, business development for its Graphic Communications Group (GCG). Mr. Swanson has more than 25 years of sales, marketing, business development, technology and operations experience in the graphic communications industry.
At Kodak, Mr. Swanson will lead GCG’s business development efforts, including strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions and divestitures. In this role, he will be responsible for creating new business opportunities through external partnerships. In conjunction with GCG management, he will develop technology and solutions road maps, and forge relationships with strategic partners to grow Kodak’s ability to serve customers. Mr. Swanson will report to Jeffrey Hayzlett, chief marketing officer, GCG.
“Ken’s broad-based experience in business development, strategic planning, operations and technology will bring additional leadership skills to our marketing organization,” said Mr. Hayzlett. “He has a track record of success wherever he has been, and we are thrilled to add another seasoned leader to our GCG marketing team.”
Mr. Swanson most recently served as senior vice president at Bowne & Company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Swanson held management positions at a number of graphic communications and printing companies, including L.P. Thebault Company and Anderson Lithograph.
