Cheryl Ludwig has been named thermoset process development specialist for Plasticolors, Inc., a leading supplier of advanced colorants and chemical dispersions for thermoset plastics and the paint and coatings industry, headquartered in Ashtabula, OH.
Ms. Ludwig will be responsible for science and technology as it relates to the thermoset composite industry. Areas of responsibility include customer engagement, product design, long-term product development and related testing protocols. The basis of her work will be on systems development, experimentation and evaluation. In this role she will assist in establishing practices and procedures designed to enhance product performance as it relates to customer needs and specifications.
Prior to joining Plasticolors, Ms. Ludwig served in several technical management positions, most recently as senior materials chemist, for Premix, Inc., based in North Kingsville, OH.

Ms. Ludwig earned her bachelor’s degree at Lake Erie College, Painesville, OH.
