Spectra, Inc. appointed Per Frost to general manager of its Spectra Technology Integration (STI) unit in Lebanon, NH. Mr. Frost will retain his current duties as vice president, marketing and sales of Spectra, Inc. and assume the responsibility of general manager of STI, which develops, manufactures and supports tailored ink jet solutions based on Spectra’s core piezoelectric drop-on-demand technology.
“I am very encouraged by the initial response for our new services. STI is responding to a large unmet need in the market today,” said Mr. Frost. “Given our proprietary position and extensive knowledge of ink jet, we are confident in our ability to provide the most capable and most cost-effective approach to tailored solutions.”
Mr. Frost joined Spectra in 1998 from CAP Ventures, where he was director of the industrial marking and printing consulting practice. He was formerly general manager of Domino Printing Sciences PLC, a manufacturer of industrial ink jet printers and responsible for the company’s ink business. Earlier, Mr. Frost was business planning manager of British Petroleum International in London, where he specialized in strategic planning and M&A.
Mr. Frost holds an MBA from INSEAD in France, a B.Sc. from the Copenhagen School of EDP and a B.Sc. in business finance and capital markets from the Copenhagen School of Economics.
