After a long career, Marty Paul has left Sun Chemical to pursue other interests. As director of special projects, Mr. Paul represented Sun Chemical and the ink industry in three major studies performed by the Printing Industries of America (PIA): “Printing 2000,” “Bridging to a Digital Future,” and most recently, “Vision 21.” Upon the completion of these studies, Mr. Paul traveled throughout North America, Europe and South America reporting on these studies.
Mr. Paul has been the recipient of many major awards from the ink and printing industries. He was named Man of the Year by the PIA/SC, Printing Ink Pioneer Award by the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) and received Web Offset Association Special Recognition for 50 years of industry service. He is a member of the Ash Khan Society and chair of the Web Offset Society.
Mr. Paul has formed M.J. Paul Associates (www.mjpaulassociates.com; phone: (310) 375-3136), through which he will offer his experience and knowledge of the graphic arts industry at association and sales meetings and other functions.
