Sun Chemical demonstrated its commitment to delivering quality, service and innovation for the narrow web market at Label Expo Europe in Brussels. Visitors at the show learned about the fully upgraded line of core products within the Solaris system.

SolarFlex Nova provides maximum cure efficiency and trouble-free printing. The ColorSat dispense system and its associated software will automatically deliver accurate on-demand color. The silicone-free technology will also allow for easier post-print enhancements. The high color strength will allow the use of finer aniloxes for higher print definition, improved ink mileage and greater color matching flexibility.

Suncure Starluxe is the latest UV offset product line designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding brand owners and end users. The upgraded system offers reliable and robust press performance on a range of papers, plastics and metalized substrates at the highest print quality.

SolarScreen Whites have new silicone-free and silicone-containing products added to the range, making use of the latest technology to further enhance the performance characteristics of these market-leading products.     Sun Chemical also presented low migration solutions for improved safety in food and pharma packaging.

SunCure FLM is a UV offset line of products designed to print on many substrates, and was added to the SolarFlex LM range of low migration UV flexo products. Completing the package is a line of low migration coatings.

“As the world’s foremost producer of inks, pigments and color technology, we continually push the limits of efficiency and strive to adopt the best operational practices to create value for our customers,” says Jonathan Sexton, sales director – screen and narrow web, Sun Chemical. “Sun Chemical will be showcasing this commitment at Label Expo through our range of solutions that are designed to cater for greater demands in the market for safer, more sustainable print solutions for labels and packaging.”
