INX International Ink Co. announced that it is partnering with Gould Paper (Canada), Ltd. to distribute ink and coating products throughout western Canada via Gould outlets in Edmonton, Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg.
“This opens new, significant territory for us,” said John Hrdlick, vice president field operations for INX. “Our alliance with Gould enables us to reach markets where we previously were not represented.”
“Partnering with INX offers Gould customers an extra edge,” said Jim Dunn, president of Gould Canada, “with value-added service that most paper-ink suppliers can’t provide.
“Unlike many paper merchants,” Mr. Dunn continued, “Gould Canada’s customer service, warehouse and distribution teams are familiar with handling and servicing this aspect of the business. We have represented ink and coating products since 1997. Understanding our clients’ print processes and an ability to provide cost-benefit solutions while maintaining a high quality standard offers an edge printers need to succeed in a very competitive industry. And now, along with premium quality inks, our customers will also benefit from INX’ technical support, when and where it may be needed.”
“Our inks such as Ecopure HPJ are designed, fully tested and proven to run well on a wide variety of presses,” said INX sales applications specialist Brian Kolbe. “This is ideal for the diverse customer base served by Gould Paper. Printers can zero-in on the right ink quickly – avoiding costly trial-and-error, lost time and substrate waste.”
“The product-service combination and Gould-INX collaboration make this partnership a perfect fit,” Mr. Hrdlick concluded. “Prospects for immediate returns and long-term growth are excellent.”
