EFI has sold its first Jetrion 4000 UV Inkjet System to True Label, Inc., a label innovator and current Jetrion 3025 customer. True Label signed the contract for the machine last month and recently installed the press in its Toledo, OH facility.
True Label purchased the new press to economically in-source full color, short run jobs, eliminating the need to outsource to expensive toner-based suppliers. The 12-year-old company specializes in pharmaceutical and chemical labeling, and has a history of investing in new technologies to lower costs and increase quality and profits.
“The Jetrion 4000’s combination of image quality, speed and low production costs will make it possible for us to produce millions of short run labels at great margins,” said Bob Napierala, president of True Label. “Historically we have turned down short run opportunities because they did not fit our capabilities. Now with Jetrion’s technology, not only will we have the capability to run short runs but we will also have a competitive advantage in the marketplace over HP technology.”
“Jetrion and True Label have enjoyed a strong relationship since the successful installation of the Jetrion 3025 last year, so we’re excited they are the first to purchase and run our new Jetrion 4000 press,” said Dr. Kenneth Stack, general manager, Jetrion Industrial Inkjet Systems, EFI. “We’re confident that the speed and quality of the machine will meet their expectations and make an impressive difference to their bottom line.”
