Sun Chemical announced the launch of Diamond Coat, a full line of high-performance aqueous coatings designed for a variety of printing applications.
Available in high-gloss, semi-gloss, satin and matte finishes for sheetfed and web printing, different coating versions have been developed to meet specific pressroom needs, such as fast work-and-turn or high rub resistance. Diamond Coat coatings work with any inks, but are specially formulated and tested with Kohl & Madden sheetfed inks and Sun Chemical web heatset inks for optimal performance.
“With the Diamond Coat series, Rycoline and Sun Chemical take an additional step toward providing printers a total solution package,” said Kevin Yeazell, general manager, Rycoline. “The group is working diligently to help printers be more competitive by purchasing from a single source a variety of products that work well together.”
Diamond Coat is manufactured by Rycoline, a Sun Chemical company that also offers a portfolio of pressroom consumables.
