Color Resolutions International, Fairfield, OH, will increase prices 6 percent on all inks and coatings, effective Jan. 15.
The increase is driven by rising costs for raw materials, transportation, packaging, energy, healthcare and insurance.
“Investing in a new, more efficient facility a year ago and the implementation of a lean manufacturing program has offset a portion of rising production costs,” said George Sickinger, president, chairman and CEO of Color Resolutions International. “However, faced with double-digit increases in the cost of resins, pigments, additives and freight, increased container prices and escalating health care and insurance costs, we have no choice but to implement a price increase.”
