Xaar Plc and Lyson, Inc. have announced a brand licensing agreement whereby Lyson may market its GF 362 and GF 372 grand format inks as certified XAAR XJ128 compatible in Central and South America and the Caribbean.

These Lyson inks are the first inks in America to receive Xaar’s seal of approval for usage with their piezoelectric printhead technology.

“For Lyson, this is more than a marketing opportunity; this is a significant honor,” said Tony Martin, president of Lyson, Inc. “Xaar technology means ‘exceptional quality’ to everyone involved in the ink jet industry, and Xaar’s decision to officially approve our GF inks for use with the renowned XJ128 printhead is extremely gratifying.”

Known for their ease of use, reliability, color gamut and density, Lyson GF inks have a shelf life rated at 18 months, which allow pigments to stay in suspension for longer periods and eliminate the need to shake or adjust viscosity.

Other GF ink benefits include ultra-vibrant colors over a wide color gamut, expected print life of up to three years without lamination or need for special media, print life of up to five years with the application of Lyson Aqua Coat and environmentally safe formulation through the use of organic solvents.
