ANI Printing Inks has introduced Hydrofilm ACE to the North American market. Hydrofilm ACE has been designed as a universal water-based flexo ink for printing film substrates on narrow web presses. Hydrofilm ACE has been specifically designed with the key attributes wanted by North American converters – exhibiting outstanding adhesion, color strength and ease of use.
Hydrofilm ACE is compatible with a wide variety of materials, including PE, PP, BOPP, PVC, PET and polyester. Hydrofilm ACE is compatible with metallic films and foils, as well as coated and uncoated paper. ANI Printing Inks recognizes the need for superior ink adhesion and color strength, along with a product that is easy for printers to use and maintain.
“Through customer interviews and surveys we have heard what converters need and want most in a new film ink product, and we will meet these needs in Hydrofilm ACE, providing a film product with superior attributes,” said Tom Hammer, director, product portfolio for ANI Printing Inks North America. “We wanted to offer our customers a unique product that gives them complete performance with increased mileage and better print results, as well as making it possible to reduce ink inventory and downtime to improve overall profits. This new ink system meets these criteria.”
