Nazdar (www.nazdar.com) has received ISO 9001:2000 registration for its quality management system.
“ISO 9001:2000 registration sends a clear and unmistakable signal to our customers and competitors that Nazdar continues to achieve the highest levels of quality, maintaining standards recognized and respected throughout the world,” said Nazdar president Mike Fox. “Registration also serves to underscore our long tradition of quality, highlighting the entire organization’s commitment to delivering only the very best products and services to our customers.”
According to the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001:2000 has replaced the old ISO 9001:1994 standard. Companies seeking ISO 9001:2000 compliance are challenged to develop a quality management system around a business process model which includes management responsibility, resource management, business process/product realization, measurement, analysis and continuous improvement. Nazdar has completely integrated the eight core quality management principles: customer focus; involvement of people; process approach; system approach to management; continual improvement; factual approach to decision making; mutually beneficial supplier relationships; and leadership.
