SICPA North America Inc., Brooklyn Park, MN, announces the availability of SICPA Label and SICPA Label HS water-based ink systems for pressure-sensitive, narrow web labels.
“Our customers have been looking for the next generation of resin/amine combinations in order to minimize press-side adjustments and maximize press stability,” said Ed Dedman, product manager – labels and plastic cards.
“SICPA Label and SICPA Label HS accomplish this while providing sharp printing, fast drying, ease of operator use and clean-up, high gloss and excellent lay and adhesion characteristics on most commonly used pressure-sensitive substrates,” Mr. Dedman added.
Optimized for all paper and the majority of top-coated film used in pressure-sensitive constructions, SICPA Label and SICPA Label HS display exceptional on-press performance, pH stability, fast drying speed, non-foaming characteristics, and high color strength. Both systems are available in the full line of process colors, Pantone shades, and custom-matched colors, and are balanced to achieve Pantone shades at FIRST densities on standardized anilox lines and volumes.
